Softball Recap: Apollo Gets the Win

Apollo's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Trinity Raiders 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won five in a row.

Mollie Julian looked comfortable as she pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

At the plate, Bella Feldpausch was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

The win got Apollo back to even at 2-2. As for Trinity, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Coming up, Apollo will be taking part in a tournament against Saint James at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Trinity, they will host Muhlenberg County at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
