Shelby County and Trimble County are an even 4-4 against one another since May of 2016, but likely not for long. The Rockets will take on the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Kaylee Cox made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Cox was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with four runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025.

Meanwhile, while Trimble County put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Cornerstone Christian Academy. The Raiders were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Bulldogs. With that win, the Raiders brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.

Friday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Shelby County hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .365. However, it's not like Trimble County struggles in that department as they've averaged .352. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Shelby County couldn't quite get it done against Trimble County in their previous meeting on March 10th as they fell 9-5. Can the Rockets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
