The Collinsville Pirates entered their tilt with the Tioga Bulldogs with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Collinsville skirted past Tioga 45-42. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Collinsville also won the last time the pair played on January 2nd.
It was another big night for Carter Scott, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 18 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Chad Davidson, who scored ten points.
Collinsville's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-10. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Tioga, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
Collinsville will head out on the road to face off against Alvord at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Alvord has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 199 points over their last three contests. As for Tioga, they will be playing at home against Era at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Era has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
