It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Seagoville Dragons can now relate to. They were dealt a 37-7 defeat at the hands of Mansfield Summit on Friday. While losing is never fun, Seagoville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 420th, while Mansfield Summit is ranked 107th).

Seagoville are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 11.3 points per game. As for Mansfield Summit, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Seagoville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mansfield Summit will head out on the road to face off against Texas at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Texas is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
