Everything went CAM's way against Stanton on Friday as they made off with a 54-28 win.
CAM's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 38 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Stanton couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 38-0 heading into the break. CAM were outperformed in the second half 16-28 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the game. The victory bumped their record up to 1-0. The loss dropped Stanton's record to 1-0.
CAM hope to keep the momentum going despite some extra time before their next contest against West Harrison at 7:00 PM in two weeks. Stanton will look to defend their home turf next week against Bedford at 7:00 PM. Neither team wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable defeat.
