The biggest upset of the week belonged to Proviso East, who defeated 360th ranked Proviso East, 27-20.
Morton scaled the state rankings by moving to 339 from 379 this week, the biggest jump in West Suburban - Gold. The Mustangs were able to make move up by defeating the Pirates 27-20.
Robert Regan was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 29 carries, he ran for 185 yards as Hinsdale South lost to Willowbrook. Teammate Michael Fassero added to the ground attack by rushing for 90 yards.
Regan provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Hornets fell to the Warriors. Regan's favorite target this week was Watson, who caught 5 passes for 62 yards.
Thomas Pajor put up the best numbers in passing as Leyden lost to Lyons. He finished with 14 completions for 122 yards. Pajor's favorite target this week was Alex Lemon, who caught 5 passes for 47 yards.
Watson was the best wideout in the league this week as Hinsdale South fell to Willowbrook. Shaun Dulleck helped Hinsdale South's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 42 yards.
The Warriors' Brian Johnson and Hayden Adams have formed a dream team this season, leading West Suburban - Gold in both passing and receiving yards. 6-3 quarterback Johnson has thrown for 958 yards this season, while Adams has 18 catches for 301 yards. Aaron Whigham from the Eagles leads the league in rushing with 307 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Downers Grove South takes on Morton. At the moment, the Mustangs are in third, while Eric Lyons' team is in second.
Downers Grove South was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to third in the league. John Belskis' team beat Addison Trail 40-21 earlier in the week.
