It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Thompson had no problem doing just that  on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Bayside Academy Admirals by a score of  3-1. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Warriors.
 Jayla Green paced Thompson's offense, picking up 17 kills. Green got some help from  Maddy Henderson and her 17 assists.  Lauren Blackmon controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Thompson's victory bumped their record up to 30-11. As for Bayside Academy,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 32-18.
 Thompson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  3-2  win against Hewitt-Trussville on the 29th. Bayside Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
