A well-balanced attack led Arickaree over Bethune in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Arickaree Bison blew the Bethune Bobcats out of the water with a 59-16 final score. The Bison have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 23 points or more this season.

Austin Wright was his usual excellent self, going 10 of 14 on his way to 23 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Jake King, who posted six points in addition to 11 assists and five rebounds.

Arickaree smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.

Arickaree's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.7 points per game. As for Bethune, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Arickaree won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Denver Waldorf at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Denver Waldorf is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.7 points per game this season.
