On Friday, the Alma Cardinals's game was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They snuck past Cambridge with a 37-31 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Alma.
Addison Siebels continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 11 points along with four steals. Riley Scott was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with four steals.
Despite the defeat, Cambridge had strong showings from Brylyn Springer, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and two steals, and Jalen Kent, who scored six points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Springer has scored all season.
Alma pushed their record up to 19-3 with that victory, which was their 11th straight on the road. As for Cambridge, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.
Alma is on the road again on Tuesday and plays Arapahoe at 7:45 p.m. on February 13th. Hopefully Arapahoe focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday. Cambridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
