There's no place like home for Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Reedley Pirates on Thursday. The Grizzlies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 18-25, 25-20, 25-16.

Central has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 5-3.

Central has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Sanger West on the 14th. As for Reedley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Hoover on the 14th.
