Pryor is a perfect 9-0 against Glenpool since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Tigers will look to defend their home field against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Pryor will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
On Tuesday, Pryor earned a 9-4 victory over McAlester. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly five runs.

Gavin Roberts made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Carter Sloan, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with five RBI and one double. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Clinton Stohler, who went 2-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.
Pryor kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive matchups.
Claremore hit Glenpool with a six-run second inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Warriors wound up with the same score they had in their last game (12-4), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The defeat continues a trend for them in their meetings with the Zebras: they've now lost nine in a row.
Eli Winters made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Brady Terronez was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Glenpool's loss dropped their record down to 13-16. As for Pryor, their win bumped their record up to 21-10.
Monday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Pryor has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .443. However, it's not like Glenpool struggles in that department as they've averaged .460. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Pryor was able to grind out a solid victory over Glenpool in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, winning 6-3. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
