Lemon Bay's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maya Collins, who scored 19 points along with five steals. Collins is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Shania Leubin was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three steals.
Lemon Bay's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Aubrey Rogers, they dropped their record down to 13-5 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Lemon Bay didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Aubrey Rogers when the teams last played on Monday, but they still walked away with a 57-53 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lemon Bay since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
