The Carver Challengers will head out on the road to face off against the Catalyst-Maria Wolves at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Carver will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
Last Friday, Carver earned a 44-36 win over Tilden.
It was another big night for Astarte Washington, who scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Destiny Ontiveros, who scored ten points.
Catalyst-Maria has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 20 points or more this season. They blew past ACERO Garcia 43-19. The win made it back-to-back wins for Catalyst-Maria.
Carver's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Catalyst-Maria, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
Carver strolled past Catalyst-Maria in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 38-22. Will Carver repeat their success, or does Catalyst-Maria have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
