After two weeks on the road, Minuteman Regional is heading back home. They looks to establish their home field advantage on Thursday as they take on Chelsea at Woburn High at 7:30 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Minuteman Regional found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-28 punch to the gut against Nashoba Valley Tech last Thursday.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Chelsea, and their match last Saturday only extended their streak of losses to five. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 6-34 walloping at Whittier RVT's hands. The state rankings had actually given Chelsea a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
