As for Tri-Valley, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-4. The result was nothing new for the Scotties, who have now won 16 games by six runs or more so far this season.
On Tri-Valley's side, Kade Hindel made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Those eight strikeouts gave Hindel a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Brady Kaufman was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-5. That's the most home runs he has posted since back in April. Gavin Harrold was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI.
