Center Place's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell 38-30 to Clinton Christian Academy. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Center Place in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now lost three in a row.
It was another big night for Clara Hyke, who scored 16 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds for Clinton Christian Academy. Hyke is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Wisniewski, who scored 11 points.
Center Place's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Clinton Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
Center Place does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Clinton Christian Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
