It was another big night for Madison McKenzie, who almost dropped a double-double on 33 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Leylani Abraham, who scored six points along with six rebounds and five blocks.
Gainesville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Battlefield, their loss dropped their record down to 16-7.

Battlefield will take on Freedom at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Virginia (Battlefield is ranked 92nd, while Freedom is ranked 116th).
