There's no place like home for TEACH Homeschool, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past the Peninsula Catholic Knights 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Beach Breakers have posted since April 20, 2024.

TEACH Homeschool got a great performance from Conner Burcker as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over 5.1 innings pitched.

At the plate, Thomas Bianco and Paul Schwindt did most of the damage at the plate: Bianco went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI, while Schwindt went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. That double was Bianco's first of the season.

TEACH Homeschool moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Peninsula Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

TEACH Homeschool has already played their next game, an 8-1 win against Northeastern on the 24th. As for Peninsula Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 18-0 victory against Richmond Christian on the 25th.
