Sacramento Country Day was dealt a 89-32 defeat at the hands of Valley Christian. Sacramento Country Day was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 60-18.
Leading Valley Christian to victory were Chase Clary and Ian Glaspy. Clary dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Glaspy scored 19 points along with seven assists and five steals. The contest was Glaspy's 15th in a row with at least ten points. Matthew Larson was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
This is the second loss in a row for Sacramento Country Day and nudges their season record down to 7-6. As for Valley Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8.
Sacramento Country Day will head out on the road to face off against Buckingham Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Valley Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Cristo Rey at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. Cristo Rey comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
