Riverton is 3-0 against Grace since December of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Riverton Wolverines will jump right back in to play the Grace Grizzlies at 7:40 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Thursday, Riverton was fully in charge, breezing past Tournament Opponent 66-37 on the road. That looming 66-37 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Riverton yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Riverton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Parker Paxton, who scored 19 points. The matchup was Paxton's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dre'vin Monroe, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Grace earned a 51-44 victory over Bear Lake on Saturday. That 51-44 margin sets a new team best for Grace this season.
Riverton now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Grace, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.
Riverton took their win against Grace when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a conclusive 61-41. Will Riverton repeat their success, or does Grace have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
