Covell Came Up Big in Titusville's 42-0 Win
Starting off the list is Titusville's Jaxon Covell, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Covell rushed for 233 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also picked up 38 receiving yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 85-yard run.
For the year, Covell has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 42.1 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had 12 rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 22.

Kelvin Morrison was instrumental in extending Hickory's winning streak to four on Friday. Nobody could stop Morrison as he rushed for 152 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in three or more in the last three games he's played.
If the past is any indication, Morrison could be in store for another big game when he takes on Slippery Rock on Friday. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Morrison saw the Rockets), he rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.

Zander Telesz Makes It Two for Hickory
Another Hickory player making an appearance on this list is Zander Telesz. He threw for 85 yards and three touchdowns on only six passes, and also rushed for 72 yards. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 53 yards.
On the year, Telesz has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 105.4 passing yards per game.

Ethan Engelmore Dazzles in Sharon Victory
Ethan Engelmore was instrumental in extending Sharon's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Engelmore as he threw for 196 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also punched in a rushing score.
Sharon's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Engelmore and Sharon will square off against Titusville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
