The Patrick Henry Patriots will be playing at home against the Kearny Komets at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
After a string of four wins, Patrick Henry's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell to Christian 58-53.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Kenneth Klu, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Derek McBride was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Kearny's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their sixth straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 51-25 defeat at the hands of Crawford. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Kearny has scored all season.
Patrick Henry's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-8. As for Kearny, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
Everything went Patrick Henry's way against Kearny in their previous meeting back in January of 2018 as Patrick Henry made off with a 68-47 win. Does Patrick Henry have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kearny turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
