Echols County has been on the road for five straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Charlton County Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Echols County suffered their biggest defeat since December 1, 2023 on Thursday. They suffered a rough 59-37 loss at the hands of Citizens Christian Academy.
Meanwhile, even though Atkinson County scored an imposing 55 points on Friday, Charlton County still came out on top. Charlton County walked away with a 63-55 win over Atkinson County. The win made it back-to-back wins for Charlton County.
Ja'mari Hamilton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Charlton County's points. Imod Hamilton was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds.
Echols County's defeat was their 12th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-10. As for Charlton County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season.
Echols County took a serious blow against Charlton County in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 71-23. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Echols County was down 40-13.
