Softball Recap: Moody Has No Trouble Against Jonesboro

Moody lost to Jonesboro back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Bearcats were the clear victors by a 17-11 margin over the Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Bearcats, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Moody has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for Jonesboro, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-6.

Coming up, Moody is taking a road trip to square off against De Leon at 6:00 p.m. on the 24th. Jonesboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
