Several Panthers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Michael Roberson, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. That was a full 37.8% of Knightstown's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Palmer Newkirk was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two blocks.
Knightstown has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Winchester Community, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
