Despite the loss, S & S Consolidated saw an underclassman step up: Joe Orr scored 27 points along with 3 steals. Orr scored a full 46.6% of S & S Consolidated's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caiden Jones, who scored 4 points along with 5 rebounds.
Colbert's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for S & S Consolidated, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
Colbert will be playing at home against Savanna at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for S & S Consolidated, they will head out on the road to face off against Bridgeport at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
