Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up eight more assists than your opponent, as Lee Central did.
Lee Central found their leader in underclassman Kiauj Allen, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Demarius Gregg was another key contributor, scoring three points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Andrews' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Lavon White, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and two steals, and Vincent Rhue who scored seven points along with five rebounds and four steals. White has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played.
Lee Central's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-12. As for Andrews, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.
Lee Central will face off against Kingstree at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lee Central is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 50.8 points per game this season. Andrews does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
