Baseball Recap: Panama Takes a Loss

After flying high against Poteau last Friday, Panama came back down to earth. The Panama Razorbacks fell 10-6 to the Battiest Panthers on Monday. The Razorbacks' defeat signaled the end of their undefeated season.

Dylan Restine made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Talan Fairless, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Having lost for the first time this season, Panama fell to 3-1. As for Battiest, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Panama is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Checotah at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Battiest, they will head out on the road to face off against Rattan at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Battiest's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
