Meanwhile, winning is just a little bit easier when you work as a team to rack up 16 more assists than your opponent, a fact Legend proved on Friday. They really took it to Mountain Range for the full four quarters, racking up a 71-36 win at home. With that victory, Legend brought their scoring average up to 59.5 points per game.
Legend's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kale Sparks, who scored 19 points along with 6 rebounds. Gavin Whitehead was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 5 steals.
Doherty's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Legend, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
