Life Christian Academy is 8-0 against Oasis Christian since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Life Christian Academy Lions will jump right back in to play the Oasis Christian Lions at 4:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Life Christian Academy's eight-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 59-57 victory over Specially Fit Academy. The victory was just what Life Christian Academy needed coming off of a 88-33 loss in their prior match.
Life Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dan Morales, who scored 20 points. Jaden Dinzey was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Meanwhile, Oasis Christian's seven-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Ridgeview Global Studies Academy and snuck past 41-38. The victory was just what Oasis Christian needed coming off of a 68-41 loss in their prior matchup.
Oasis Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Daniel Evangelisto led the charge by scoring ten points along with five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Durden, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Life Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-14. As for Oasis Christian, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9.
Everything went Life Christian Academy's way against Oasis Christian when the teams last played back in February of 2020 as Life Christian Academy made off with a 76-52 victory.
