Pretty Prairie extended the longest winning streak in Heart of the Plains (8 Man) this week by beating Canton-Galva, 52-0. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Pretty Prairie took down the Eagles 52-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Peyton Yandel threw for 165 yards and three touchdowns. He was six-nine with zero interceptions.
Caleb Bartel was the best wideout in the league this week as Norwich fell to Stafford. Bartel racked up four receptions for 91 yards. Brandon Depriest helped Norwich's passing attack out by catching four balls for 59 yards.
Jacob Norris provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Eagles lost to the Trojans. He completed 15 passes for 195 yards and one touchdown and also ran for 138 yards.
Tristin Paulsen was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 254 yards on 29 carries as Stafford fell to Stafford. Teammate Ethan Johnson added to the ground attack by rushing for 165 yards.
Devin Cannon made the biggest impact on defense this week as Cunningham topped Attica. The junior recorded two fumbles and grabbed two sacks.
5-foot-8 quarterback Yandel of South Barber is the league leader in passing yards this season with 906. He has also thrown 16 touchdowns. On the ground, Jeff Lowther's team's Paulsen has rushed for 748 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Depriest. The Norwich star has 35 catches for 409 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Chieftains take on Lucas Schroeder's team. At the moment, South Barber is in second, while the Eagles are in sixth.
Central Christian and Flint Hills Christian played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Central Christian eventually emerging with a 26-22 victory.
