Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sargent to victory, but perhaps none more so than Angelise Sandoval, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Asbell, who scored seven points along with three steals and two blocks.
This is the second loss in a row for Fowler and nudges their season record down to 13-10. As for Sargent, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.
Fowler does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sargent, they and Merino will face off at 1:00 p.m. on March 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Sargent is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
