Doherty's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged five passes before it was all said and done. Isabella Marquez led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself.
The Vanguard School's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Doherty, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
