The Pike County Bulldogs posted their biggest win yet this season on Friday. They put the hurt on Daleville with a sharp 67-47 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Pike County.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pike County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jyderian Burney, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Markelis Hobdy, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Pike County's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Daleville, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.
Pike County will head out on the road to take on New Brockton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Brockton is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games. As for Daleville, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Opp at 7:00 p.m. Opp is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
