The Alabama School for the Deaf Silent Warriors's five-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. Everything went their way against Mississippi School for the Deaf as Alabama School for the Deaf made off with a 38-14 win. The victory was just what Alabama School for the Deaf needed coming off of a 57-3 loss in their prior contest.
Despite the loss, Mississippi School for the Deaf saw an underclassman step up: DeSiare Ingram scored 8 points. Ingram scored a full 57.1% of Mississippi School for the Deaf's points, the eighth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Alabama School for the Deaf's victory bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Mississippi School for the Deaf, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
Alabama School for the Deaf will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Wadley at 5:00 p.m. Mississippi School for the Deaf is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Stringer at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th.
