Meanwhile, Huntley kept a clean sheet against McHenry on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Warriors. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Red Raiders were the better team in the second half.
With that draw, Hononegah's record moves to 5-3-1. As for Huntley, the win got them back to even at 4-4-2.
