Toms River South won the last time they faced Toms River East and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Indians had just enough and edged out the Raiders 2-1.

Toms River South has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Toms River East, their defeat was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Toms River South will challenge rival Southern Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Toms River East is set to face off against their familiar foe Jackson Memorial at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
