The Northwood Gladiators lost against the Paint Branch Panthers back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Northwood had to suffer through a rough 60-27 loss at the hands of Paint Branch. Northwood has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Jordan Horm was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points for Paint Branch. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Lee, who scored nine points.
Northwood's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-3. As for Paint Branch, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwood will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Blair at 5:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. As for Paint Branch, they will head out on the road to face off against Springbrook at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
