Poca's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Tolsia Rebels as they made off with a 21-11 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Dots as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.
Poca got a massive performance out of Colton Dunbar, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Legg, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Poca always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .561. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-8. As for Tolsia, their defeat was their 24th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Poca will face off against Teays Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Tolsia, they will take on Belfry at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
