After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Abingdon, Union was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over the Chilhowie Warriors. Considering the Bears have won six games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Union's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Chilhowie, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3.

Union wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 15-0 victory against Ridgeview on the 24th. As for Chilhowie, they will challenge Honaker at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
