Robinson is 4-0 against Mills University Studies since August of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Robinson Senators will look to defend their home field against the Mills University Studies Comets at 7:00 p.m. Robinson knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matchups -- so hopefully Mills University Studies likes a good challenge.
Last Friday, Robinson didn't have too much trouble with Beebe on the road as they won 43-27.
Among those leading the charge was Nick Abrams, who rushed for 86 yards and three touchdowns, and also caught a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Quentin Murphy jr., who threw for 36 yards and a touchdown.
Robinson's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Kaleb Doucette and his two sacks.
Meanwhile, Mills University Studies had just enough and edged Pine Bluff out 24-21 two weeks ago.
Achillies Ringo looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 214 yards and a touchdown. Rodney Jackson and his 81 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Mills University Studies' victory.
Robinson's victory was their seventh straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 7-1. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-9 Watson Chapel and 1-6-1 Forrest City (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 38.8% over those games). Mills University Studies has been no stranger to the win column this season, as they've started out with wins in six of their first seven matchups, giving them a 6-1 record.
Robinson won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in October of 2022, slipping by Mills University Studies 29-28. Does Robinson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mills University Studies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
