Griffin was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run  that went for 67 yards.  Eddie Hidalgo got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.
 Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Clifton, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Friday. They secured  a  19-13 W over Eastside on Friday. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Mustangs as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.
 Passaic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Clifton, their win  ended  a  five-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 1-1.
