AA Region 2 recap Oct. 16, 2012
Benedictine made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,902 from 3,443. The advance stemmed from a 33-26 victory over Bacon County last week.
The Cadets led AA Region 2 in scoring this week after putting up 33 points on the Raiders.
Vidalia's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Dejarius Mincey has thrown for 426 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Will Chomskis has 12 catches for 180 yards. Juan Foster leads the league in rushing with 772 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Benedictine takes on Bacon County. The Cadets are currently in second, while the Raiders are in fifth.
