Vincent Guerin made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, Brady Detwiler was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one triple, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Keigan Scott also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.

Imlay City's record now sits at 4-13-1. As for Kearsley, they now have a losing record of 10-11.
