Meanwhile, Andrews Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher back in December of 2023 after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 86-40 loss at the hands of Benton Harbor. While losing is never fun, Andrews Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 488th, while Benton Harbor is ranked 37th).
Community Baptist Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Andrews Academy, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-5.
Community Baptist Christian beat Andrews Academy 63-50 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Community Baptist Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
