The Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer Titans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 78-26 loss at the hands of Johnson-Brock. Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-16.
Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brogan Dunlap, who scored 15 points.
Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They are winless (0-3) when they can't control their own glass like that.
Johnson-Brock got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brody Koehler out in front who scored 12 points along with four blocks and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Meyer, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds.
Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer dropped their record down to 3-17 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Johnson-Brock, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 21-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer will challenge Palmyra at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday. As for Johnson-Brock, they will head out on the road to face off against Mead at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
