On Wednesday, Twin Falls made easy work of Mountain Home and carried off a 3-0 win.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Twin Falls took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-7, 25-12.

Twin Falls' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from MILLIE WESTERN, who had ten kills, six aces, and one block. WESTERN has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last three times she's played. VALERIE BLACK was another key player, getting 17 digs and one assist.
They weren't the only good servers: Twin Falls was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 12 aces in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Canyon Ridge lost 3-0 to Madison on Thursday.
While Canyon Ridge was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Madison's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-7, 25-10.
The victory got Twin Falls back to even at 10-10. As for Canyon Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 0-17.
Twin Falls beat Canyon Ridge 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bruins since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
