While losing is never fun, Pinnacle Classical Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 487th, while Christian Family Academy is ranked 240th).
Despite the loss, Pinnacle Classical Academy got a solid performance out of Cody Humphries, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. Humphries hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for six straight games. Braylon Gentry was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Thomas Jefferson has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Pinnacle Classical Academy, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Everything came up roses for Thomas Jefferson against Pinnacle Classical Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 79-46 win.
