It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 75-40, which was the final score in Copper Hills' tilt against Corner Canyon on Friday. Meanwhile, Riverton pushed their score all the way to 63 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 73-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of Herriman.
Copper Hills' loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Riverton, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.
Copper Hills came up short against Riverton in their previous meeting back in January, falling 89-78. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Riverton's Zach Edwards, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds.
