Baseball Recap: Pickerington North Wins Going Away Against Lincoln

Pickerington North won the last time they faced Lincoln and things went their way on Friday too. The Panthers blew past the Lions 16-6. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Camilo Chizmar looked comfortable as he tossed 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Nolan Sanders was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Pickerington North is undefeated when Sanders posts three or more hits, but 7-9 otherwise. Grant Williams also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Pickerington North now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Lincoln, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.

Looking ahead, Pickerington North will venture away from home to take on Pickerington Central at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lincoln, they will host Hilliard Bradley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
